All pets that are to be shipped attract a registration charge of £10 which is to be paid at the front counter to the cashier of Leeds pet mover. This charge is to be paid before we can register the pet on our Web site.


2) Any payment being made to Pet Movers in connection to pet shipment must be backed by a receipt as proof of payment.


3)For importers who wish to make payments directly to us, we accept only cash payment through Western Union Money transfer agency only. The money should be paid directly to the accounting officer using his name and address of Leeds pet movers, given on the Web site contact link. Upon payment of the money by the importer, it is the importers responsibility to get in contact with us with the transfer details and a copy of the Western Union receipt should be Scanned and sent to us via e-mail in color, for our own personal records.


4)Payment for pet delivery by importers should not take more than 3 hours from the time of pet registration and subsequent contact by us to the importer. Which means, the importer should react as soon as he/she is being contacted to make payment? Failure to do so, we will consider the pet registration to us Void and null.


5) The maximum period for pet to be with us (pending delivery is 6 hours. If delivery charges are not paid by the importer or exporter within 6 hours at from the time of registration, we will have no other option but to return the pet to the exporter.


6) Upon Absenteeism of the exporter and failure to make payment by either of the parties, the pet will be handed over to the Pet Rescue Department without prior notification of either parties.


7) If either parties asked for an over-due period, a charge of 15 pounds is to be paid if the pet passes a night with us.


8) Importers are to specify if they will like their pet do be delivered at home or they will like to pick the pet up at the airport.

Pet Transportation insurance.

It is not our responsibility to provide transportation insurance for any pet.



Not all pet are liable to transport insurance. Transport insurance will depend on the pet quality, judging from the pet's pedigree and Kennel club certificates. So it is the importer/Exporter responsibility, to respond to insurance fee charged for the preparation of their pet's insurance travel policy. The fee is often refundable but not all 100% refundable. The Per cent refundable depends on the broker incharge and brokerage fee.



However, Leeds Pet Movers can help Locate an insurance broker who can prepare an insurance policy for the pet in question and hand to us before the pet is to be shipped. But the insurance fee is to be paid by the importer or the exporter. The fee can also be paid to us through our accounting officer or can be paid to the insurance Broker directly, depending on the choice of the importer/exporter
The importer is to sign the insurance policy confirm the status of the pet upon receival. He/she is also to state on the method he/she will like her insurance policy fee to be refunded and hand it back to the delivery agent. It takes 48 Hours from time of delivery for insurance policy fee to be refunded
